Risk assessment
This was fairly straight forward. The usual
hazards and risks of bringing electrical equipment into a venue, so cables
lying across the floor, spillages, electrocution, drunken people crashing into
the equipment, etc. Well-trained bar staff is easily able to deal with most
potential risks and anything beyond that is either a problem of security, i.e.
people being people, or it is outwith anyone’s control. Apart from all that, the
venue’s license made it eligible to be open till midnight and of course the
regulations of volume (dB) are in place like in any other respectable venue.
